To keep our community users informed about the version roadmap of the deepin Operating System (hereafter referred to as \"deepin\"), the deepin team will announce the planned objectives for the next pre-release version ahead of its launch. The planning details will be shared from technical and functional perspectives, providing everyone with a preliminary understanding of deepin's development plans.<\/div>\n

Feature Updates<\/strong><\/td>\n1. UOS AI (AI Assistant): The local knowledge base and memory capabilities will be upgraded, with support for integrating information from email and calendars. A new Skills Hub, on-device voice input, and browser interaction capabilities will be introduced, enabling UOS AI to browse, click, and complete tasks in the browser based on user instructions.<\/p>\n

2. System Manager: New capabilities including system diagnostics, one-click repair, storage cleanup, performance optimization, and troubleshooting tools will make system maintenance easier.<\/p>\n

3. Document and App Experience: Document Viewer will support viewing-state restoration, batch printing, and eye-care modes. Text Editor will provide an improved search experience and Markdown viewing support, while App Store will add a dark theme.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

System and Ecosystem<\/strong><\/td>\n1. Installation and Recovery: Full-disk installation will support retaining user data, together with improved visuals and interactions. The Immutable System will further optimize upgrade storage usage, snapshot storage, and system rollback capabilities.<\/p>\n

2.Container and GPU Support: GPU rendering compatibility for Linyaps applications on domestic GPU platforms will be improved. NVIDIA Container Toolkit will also be included to enable NVIDIA GPU acceleration for containerized applications.<\/p>\n

3.System Optimization: Preinstalled fonts and applications will be streamlined to reduce the system footprint and provide a lighter overall experience.<\/p>\n

4. Treeland Desktop Environment: Continue improving Wayland protocol support and the graphics stack, with enhanced X11 application compatibility, remote desktop, screen capture and recording, multi-user support, and window animations, making the desktop environment more stable, responsive, and extensible.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Usability Improvements<\/strong><\/td>\n1. Improve the loading speed of the Control Center home page and refine Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection management from the taskbar.<\/p>\n

2.Support password resets through security questions to improve account recovery.<\/p>\n

3.Add smart noise reduction, seconds display in the taskbar clock, Bluetooth device battery status, and other practical improvements.<\/p>\n

4. Power Management: Add idle device power saving to reduce the power consumption of inactive devices while on battery and further extend battery life.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
