Since the release of deepin 25 Alpha, we have received valuable feedback from a large number of users. Understanding your expectations for system stability and smoothness, the deepin development team has focused primarily on refining system stability and resolving issues in the deepin 25 Beta release, aiming to deliver a more robust and reliable operating system experience.

I. [New Features and Optimizations]

[Linyaps]

The stable release of Linyaps v1.8.1 has been officially pushed to the repository. This update primarily focuses on build toolchain optimizations, expanded multi-system support, and stability improvements. It also newly supports distributions including deepin 25, Fedora 41, and AnolisOS 8.

[Installer]

• Added support for 17 global languages.

[App Store]

• Integrated the Deepin App Store for ARM64 and Loong64 architectures to address application distribution issues on these platforms.

[UOS AI]

• Added support for creating new chat sessions and viewing chat history.

• Enabled online updates for local models.

[DDE]

• The Control Center update module now supports the beta channel, allowing users to join and receive beta updates.

 

II. [Issue Fixes]

[DDE]

• Fixed an issue where the Bluetooth toggle remained clickable when Airplane Mode was enabled.

• Fixed overlapping rounded and right-angle corners in the clipboard, notification center, and launcher window when window effects were disabled.

• Fixed incorrect scaling of the screenshot/recording and system monitor icons in the quick settings panel.

• Fixed truncated display of output device names when excessively long.

[Solid (deepin solid operating system)]

• Fixed a system failure issue after updating from deepin 25 Alpha.

• Fixed sporadic installation failures after disabling system protection.

• Fixed an issue where system updates/installations could proceed despite a full Boot partition.

• Fixed missing prompts for pending update packages and commands to view them after fetching updates via terminal.

• Fixed snapshot creation failures after system rollback.

[Linyaps]

• Fixed error messages during the build process.

• Fixed a startup failure during the first system login.

• Fixed unsuccessful link-opening issues in the Linyaps app.

[File Manager]

• Fixed jagged display of search status icons.

• Fixed inaccessible SMB shares after enabling Airplane Mode and reopening the file manager.

• Fixed unresponsive computer and file manager icons on the desktop/taskbar after disconnecting from a mounted SMB network.

• Fixed duplicate search results for the same file.

• Fixed missing search results when AI search was enabled.

• Fixed sporadic appearances of deleted files in search results.

[Calendar]

• Fixed missing holiday schedules in Chinese locale.
