1、deepin 25 Experience Optimization: Key Issue Fixes Enhance User Experience
In November, deepin 25 released the 25.0.9 update, further improving system stability and daily use experience through several key fixes. The R&D team is currently fully engaged in the development and testing of the deepin 25.1 internal beta and official release. This month's update focuses primarily on refining the user experience:

Network & Store Experience Fixes: Fixed an issue where the App Store page failed to load when IPv6 was enabled by default, ensuring a smooth App Store experience.

Taskbar & Update Logic Optimization: Resolved issues where window duplication or remnants might occur when hovering over taskbar icons; optimized the update notification mechanism in Control Center and provided a temporary cleanup script to mitigate repetitive notifications in certain scenarios.

Compatibility Fixes: Fixed dependency errors during terminal updates after installing the UEngine runner, improving the collaborative stability of system components.

2、UOS AI 2.12 Released: MCP Platformization, The Intelligent Assistant Evolves Further
UOS AI has received a major version iteration, centering on "MCP Platform Capabilities" to build a smarter, more open, and convenient AI office experience:

Comprehensive MCP Intelligent Invocation Upgrade: Supports automatic tool matching for natural language commands. It comes pre-built with over 100 commands across 6 major categories including file management, document office work, and internet protocols, enabling zero-threshold "speak, don't operate" functionality.

Open Platform Ecosystem: Supports connecting third-party applications or internal enterprise system MCP plugins. Users can customize their toolset to create personalized intelligent workflows.

Significantly Improved Interactive Experience: Added the Super + Space global shortcut key to summon the AI assistant with one key from any interface. The "Copilot" function now supports temporary hiding until the application restarts. Added system language notes for translation languages, making operations more intuitive.

Benefits & Quota Updates: Free model usage credits are gifted monthly. Users can claim them automatically or apply manually, lowering the barrier to use.
3、deepin Home
In November, deepin Home received a total of 167 user bug reports and feature requests, including:

Bug Reports: 128 total. 62 replied to, 33 resolved, 9 under reproduction.

Feature Requests: 39 total. 3 completed, 1 added to the requirement pool, 24 incorporated into version planning.
III. Community SIGs (Special Interest Groups)
1、New SIG
deepin-radxa SIG Group: Dedicated to successfully porting the deepin operating system to Radxa embedded platforms and continuously optimizing system performance and compatibility.
2、deepin-kernel SIG

Updated minor versions 6.12.55, 6.12.56, 6.12.57, 6.12.58, and 6.12.59 with a total of 1044 patches, fixing known upstream issues.

Updated minor versions 6.6.114 and 6.6.115 with patches, fixing known upstream issues.

Enabled the USB_NET_CDC_MBIM driver on the AMD64 platform in the 6.12 kernel branch, fixing the issue of unusable USB external 4G network card modules.

Merged support for platforms using the RISC-V instruction set architecture (SG2042 and SG2044) into the 6.12 kernel branch.

Refreshed the RISC-V platform kernel configuration in the 6.12 kernel branch.

Fixed state confusion in the taskbar that could occur when launching applications like JLC PCB, involving rapid window creation and destruction.

Fixed an issue where the taskbar application matching logic could incorrectly identify applications like VSCode in certain scenarios.

Added a new taskbar configuration item allowing specific applications to skip CGroup-based application attribution identification, preventing icons from being displayed on the parent process (currently defaults to "Deepin Terminal").

Fixed taskbar icon misalignment issues caused by dynamic filters in some scenarios.

Taskbar preview icons now support clear display on high-DPI screens.

Fixed the issue of overly dark taskbar shadow colors.

Provided better tray icon drag-and-drop support in Treeland.

IV. Community Ecosystem
The App Store has completed nearly 2000 application review tests, successfully promoting the launch of 1412 applications. Among them, 1280 are brand new applications, with a focus on adapting to the Linglong format. Simultaneously, several leading applications have completed update iterations. For example, office software like QQ and Tencent Meeting have received minor version updates to varying degrees. The 3D drawing and rendering tool Blender welcomed a major 5.0 update, achieving breakthrough upgrades in core modules such as color management, rendering engine, modeling & animation, viewport interaction, and compatibility. This comprehensively aligns with professional production workflows, significantly enhancing creative efficiency.
The Ecosystem Co-construction Groups steadily advanced application adaptation work. A total of 13 developers from the groups enthusiastically participated in ecosystem building. They maintained a total of 1345 applications in various forms, specifically including 24 deb open-source applications, 1314 Linglong applications, and 7 Wine applications.
Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 4339 applications have been maintained by community developers. We extend our sincere thanks to all小伙伴们 (friends) who have contributed to the deepin ecosystem. We sincerely invite more partners to submit quality applications through the deepin community, working together to build an open and diverse community application ecosystem.
